tuesday with morrie

tuesday with morrie by mitch albom was one of the books that I often heard about yet have not read. when i started to read the book, I thought it was very similar to the marshmellow story and 'who moved the cheese?'. all three books has a mentor kind person that teach life lessons to the main character. However, one big difference is that the Tuesday with Morrie is actually based on the facts and someone's experience. A dying professor having conversation with his past students was pretty significant event that not many people would experience. As I read this book, it just do not list things that we should do and what we should not do. instead, it tries to change the reader's perspective; how they view the world. First thing was that the book was trying to remind the readers that people always end up dying and it is something that people are trying to ignore. However, what he says is that if we can accept and face the following death, our perspectives in the world would be very different.

  1. This book seems pretty cool, maybe I'll pick up a copy and read it once I get some free time.
