Don’t Judge a book by its cover.
Yes, indeed, its cover gives off the message or feelings of what kind of book this is. People no matter what, goes through thin slicing, and some times it may be wrong, but usually they are correct unless the book cover was designed to trick the readers.
The old man and the sea was the book that its cover was fully explanatory, and its story did not go out of my expectations. Invisible man was one that had the least explanation, and made us to interpret the book cover by reading the story. On the other hand, this new novel, this motorcycle diaries seems pretty expectable,

yeah, I guess what is on the cover gives the reader an expectation for the book. Sometimes it might not be accurate and we could be surprised, but a lot of times it is.
